The Blender Foundation and online developer community are proud to present Blender 2.91, the first bugfix release of the 2.9 series.
2.91 continues to polish the user experience introduced in 2.90, whilst fixing several regressions and bugs. Over 100 bugs were fixed since 2.90.0.
GPU Rendering
The biggest addition in 2.91 is support for GPU rendering on Apple's Metal platform. This brings significant speedups for viewport rendering and final frame rendering on Macs with compatible GPUs.
