If you're using Blender 2.8 and your textures aren't showing up, there are a few things you can try.
First, make sure that your texture is actually attached to the object. In the Properties panel, under the Materials tab, scroll down to the Textures section. Make sure that the texture is assigned to the object in the drop-down menu.
If that doesn't work, try switching to Cycles render engine. In the Render tab of the Properties panel, switch the Engine drop-down menu from Blender Render to Cycles Render.
Still not seeing your texture? Try resetting the texture coordinate. In the UV/Image Editor, select the object, then go to UVs > Reset UVs.
Finally, if all else fails, you can try re-baking the texture. In the Render tab of the Properties panel, under the Bake tab, select the Bake Type drop-down menu and choose Texture. Then hit the Bake button.
If you're still having trouble, feel free to post in the Blender subreddit or Stack Exchange for more help.

Q: How do I recover missing textures in Blender?
A: There are a few ways you can go about this:
Check if the textures are in the same folder as your .blend file. If they are, then simply opening the .blend file should automatically re-link the textures.
If the textures are not in the same folder as the .blend file, you can try opening the .blend file in a text editor and search for the name of the missing texture file. Once you find it, you can either copy the file to the same folder as the .blend file or update the path in the .blend file so that it points to the new location of the texture file.
If all else fails, you can try re-importing the textures into Blender. To do this, go to the UV/Image Editor and select the image you want to re-import. Then, go to the Image menu and select Re-import Image.

Finally, make sure that you have enabled "transparency" in the Cycles render settings if your textures have any transparent areas.
